Tips for Sellers: Pictures and Virtual Tours
Everything shows up! Before any pictures are taken by your Realtor or any virtual tour is done, , be sure that you have thoroughly cleaned your house, and yes I am including dusting baseboards and ceiling fans!
depersonalize, and de clutter! and don’t forget the garage!
Crooked drapes, crowded rooms, pets, to many knick-knacks,family pictures,appliances on the kitchen counter top ,and even furniture placement can make or break a buyers desire to see or find out more about your property, so can the color of your walls, it’s best to go with neutral colors…..
Outside is just as important, make sure there are no cars in the driveway, and check your curb appeal……your yard should be neat and bushes and shrubs trimmed. If needed repaint your front door, and get a new welcome mat .
When you do these things , you can pack and place in storage your “stuff”…., don’t stack it all up in the garage, you will only make that look smaller than it may actually be,this tip will help you when your home does sell with less to pack !!! You will most likely make your move less stressful since you will have a head start!
Detach yourself from the home, you are now on the market and this home soon will belong to someone else, the sooner you can realize this the happier you will be in the end, especially if you have lived in your house for a long time and have many memories there.
